Commercial Security Cameras That Actually Work

If you're searching for security cameras in Dubbo, you've probably seen plenty of consumer-grade options online. Ring doorbells. Wireless kits from Bunnings. They work fine for a front door at home. They don't work for a business.

Commercial security cameras need to capture clear footage in all lighting conditions, record continuously for weeks, survive Australian weather, and give you remote access that actually works. That's what we install.

Types of Security Cameras We Install

Hikvision bullet CCTV camera for commercial installation Dubbo

Bullet Cameras

Long-range, directional cameras ideal for carparks, driveways, perimeter fencing, and approach monitoring.

The catch: it sees only where it was aimed, so the position has to be right the first time.

Hikvision dome CCTV camera for commercial installation Dubbo

Dome Cameras

Wide-angle coverage for indoor areas. Reception, retail floor, kitchen, corridors. Vandal-resistant housing.

The catch: the clear cover sits in front of the lens, so dust and nearby light sources can haze the image.

Hikvision panoramic CCTV camera for wide area coverage Dubbo

Panoramic Cameras

Dual-lens panoramic cameras for wide area coverage. One camera covers what used to need two. Ideal for open areas and intersections.

The catch: it spreads its resolution across the whole scene, so faces at the far edge are smaller than on a camera pointed at them.

HiLook turret camera for business CCTV Dubbo

Turret Cameras

Versatile turret cameras for indoor and outdoor use. Clean install profile, excellent night vision. Cost-effective for multi-camera systems.

The catch: like a bullet, it is aimed once on install and stays there.

PTZ cameras pan, tilt and zoom, and suit large open areas you may need to look into more closely - yards, forecourts, sale floors. The catch is that a PTZ points one way at a time: whatever it is not looking at is not being recorded. They supplement fixed cameras rather than replacing them.

Resolution Sets Identification Distance

Resolution gets sold as picture quality. What it actually sets is the distance at which footage can identify someone, rather than just record that someone was there.

The pixels get spread across whatever the lens is pointed at. A camera covering the whole yard spends them on the whole yard; the same camera on one doorway spends them all on the doorway. A wide scene at low resolution gives you "a person" - not "that person", which is the part you need afterwards. The question at each position is not how many megapixels, but what has to be identifiable, and how far away is it.

Night Performance, Glare and Glass

An infrared range figure describes how far the camera's own illuminator throws. Past that there is nothing for the sensor to read. The lens then decides how much scene that light has to cover.

Infrared also reflects. A camera shooting through a shopfront window, or mounted where its illuminator catches a wall or a gutter close to the lens, washes out its own image - fine in daylight, white haze at night. That is a position problem, not a camera problem, and it is one of the things we look for at the site inspection.

We also handle structured data cabling, business WiFi, and ongoing IT support - one team for your entire technology infrastructure. View our recent projects, or see our main CCTV installation in Dubbo page.

Commercial CCTV packages start from $2,299 fully installed. The final price depends on camera count, site layout and cabling. We give you a fixed quote after a free site inspection, before any work starts.
Are you a licensed CCTV installer?
Yes. Commercial CCTV in NSW requires a Master Security Licence - ours is 000110352. A licensed installer keeps your system compliant and protects your insurance position.

Yes. Every system we install includes secure remote viewing from your phone, tablet or computer, so you can check your site from anywhere.
