IT setup for a new premises, move or growing team

New business and office setups

Plan computers, printers, connectivity and workplace Wi-Fi together, with a clear scope before installation.

Microsoft 365 and staff accounts

Set up business email, user accounts and access to the Microsoft 365 services included in your agreed scope.

Office moves and expansion

Coordinate the IT requirements for a move or growing team, including network equipment, devices and handover.

Plan the systems your staff need on day one

A new office needs more than computers on desks. The internet connection, data points, Wi-Fi, email accounts, shared resources and printers need to work together. We discuss those dependencies before the opening or moving date so the quote describes the whole setup.

For an existing business, tell us which computers and network equipment you want to keep, who manages the current email and internet accounts, and which software your staff rely on. That helps establish the access, compatibility checks and supplier coordination needed for the project.

  1. Agree the scope: premises, staff numbers, equipment, accounts, priorities and target dates.
  2. Plan the changeover: confirm internet availability, cabling requirements, existing equipment and any dependencies on your software or phone providers.
  3. Set up and check: install and configure the equipment and services included in the agreed quote, then check the tasks your staff need to perform.
  4. Hand over: explain how the setup is managed and confirm the agreed account access, support arrangements and next steps.

A one-off setup and an ongoing support plan are different scopes. If you want continuing monitoring, Microsoft 365 administration or helpdesk support after the project, discuss our managed IT support service as part of the quote.

Your project and quote

Every setup is quoted around your team and premises. Tell us your staff numbers, location, move or opening date, and which existing computers, accounts and equipment you want to retain.

We are based in Dubbo and prioritise commercial projects within approximately two hours' travel, by arrangement, including Wellington, Narromine, Gilgandra, Mudgee, Orange, Parkes, Forbes and Coonamble. Send your business name, location and scope so we can confirm project suitability and travel before booking.

If your premises also needs commercial CCTV, include it in the discussion so cameras, access-point positions and shared network infrastructure are planned together.

Rack builds and structured networks

Our installation gallery includes network rack and patch-panel work. A planned rack gives the equipment, cable terminations and network connections a defined home, making future moves, extra data points and fault-finding easier to manage.

These examples document the network and installation work described above. Your computer, Microsoft 365, software and account requirements are scoped for your own business.

Business IT setup questions

Can we keep our existing computers and email accounts?
Tell us what you already use and who manages it. We can review the existing equipment, accounts and access before agreeing what can be retained, reconfigured or replaced. Any email migration needs its own agreed scope and changeover plan.
Does the setup quote include ongoing subscriptions?
The quote should identify the hardware, installation work, licences and ongoing services included. Microsoft 365 subscriptions, internet and ongoing IT support have different requirements, so we confirm those items rather than treating them as automatically included in a one-off setup.
How early should we contact you before an office move?
Contact us once you have a premises and proposed date. Internet lead times, access to the building, cabling and coordination with other suppliers can affect the schedule. Share any opening deadline so we can assess the project before work is booked.
Can you provide support after the setup?
Yes, ongoing support can be discussed separately from the installation. Our IT support page explains the managed services we offer. The setup quote and support arrangement should make clear who manages accounts, equipment and future help requests.
