Why Businesses Need Purpose-Built CCTV

A business CCTV system isn't the same as sticking a few cameras around a house. Your system needs to work around the clock, record for weeks, survive harsh conditions, and produce footage clear enough to identify people and vehicles. It needs to be wired properly so it doesn't drop out. And it needs to be maintained by someone who can fix it when something goes wrong.

That's what we build. Purpose-designed CCTV systems for commercial properties in Dubbo and the Central West.

What Makes Our Business CCTV Different

1

Site-Specific Design

We don't sell "4-camera kits." We visit your site, map your coverage needs, and design a system around your specific layout and risks.

2

Commercial-Grade Hardware

IP cameras rated for commercial use. Weather-resistant, vandal-proof options, night vision that works, and resolution that captures detail.

3

Proper Infrastructure

Hardwired Cat6 to every camera. No WiFi dropouts. Clean cable runs with conduit where needed. Labelled, tested, documented.

4

One Team for Everything

We do the CCTV, the cabling, the network, and the IT. If you need WiFi or IT support too, it's all handled by the same licensed team.

The System Behind the Cameras

Cameras are the part you can see. Whether the system still works in two years comes down to the recorder, the cabling and the network underneath it.

Storage Sized to Your Retention Period

Storage is a function of four things: camera count, resolution, frame rate, and how many days you want to keep. Double the retention and you double the disk. Add higher-resolution cameras to an existing recorder and the days you get back drop. We size drives against the retention you need.

PoE: One Cable for Data and Power

Each camera runs on one Cat6 cable carrying both data and power, so there is no separate supply to find at the camera end. That cable has a distance limit. On a large site the switch has to sit where every run stays inside it - decided on the design, before anyone drills a hole.

Cameras on Their Own VLAN

Standard practice is to put the cameras on their own VLAN, separated from the office network. Cameras and recorder talk to each other and nothing else, so a compromised camera cannot see your file server, your point of sale or your staff PCs.

Remote Viewing Is a Network Question

Remote viewing is only as reliable as the network holding it up. Cameras sharing an overloaded link with staff traffic give you laggy, dropping video, and people stop opening the app. The switch, the bandwidth and how the site connects to the internet decide whether remote access gets used.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does CCTV installation cost in Dubbo?
Commercial CCTV packages start from $1,999 fully installed. The final price depends on camera count, site layout and cabling. We give you a fixed quote after a free site inspection, before any work starts.
Are you a licensed CCTV installer?
Yes. Commercial CCTV in NSW requires a Master Security Licence - ours is 000110352. A licensed installer keeps your system compliant and protects your insurance position.
Can I view my cameras remotely?
Yes. Every system we install includes secure remote viewing from your phone, tablet or computer, so you can check your site from anywhere.
Do you do the cabling, or subcontract it?
We do the cabling ourselves. Because we also handle networking and IT, your cameras run on properly installed, hardwired infrastructure - no WiFi dropouts and no finger-pointing between trades.
