What is the difference between Cat6 and Cat6A?

Cat6 supports up to 1 Gigabit speeds and is suitable for most office environments. Cat6A supports up to 10 Gigabit and is recommended for server rooms, backbone runs, and environments where future-proofing is important. We will advise on which is appropriate for your situation.

Do you provide test results?

Yes. Every cable run is tested with a Fluke or equivalent cable certifier and results can be provided on request. This verifies that each run meets the relevant performance standard.

Can you work with our builder during a fit-out?

Absolutely. We regularly coordinate with builders, electricians, and project managers on new builds and renovations. Getting cabling installed at the right stage saves significant time and cost compared to retrofitting later.

Do you install fibre between buildings?

Yes. We install fibre optic cable between buildings on the same property – for example, connecting a warehouse to the main office, or linking multiple blocks in a motel. This provides a fast, reliable backbone connection over longer distances where copper is not suitable.
